Capítulo 97: A date in Suna

As Temari dragged me through the village, I could feel the heat of the desert settling in, but her grip on my arm was firm, guiding me through the winding streets. Her face was still flushed from our teasing earlier, but I couldn't help but laugh at how easily I'd gotten under her skin.

"You know, you're really something, Naruto," Temari muttered, trying to hide the smile tugging at her lips. "One minute you're all serious, the next you're making everything awkward."

I chuckled. "Hey, it's just who I am! But if you don't like me, you can always just say so." I nudged her playfully.

She looked at me with narrowed eyes, clearly not amused, but there was a hint of amusement behind her glare. "I didn't say that," she replied, her tone softer than before. "You're just... different. I didn't expect you to be like this."

"Different how?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"Just, the way you act around everyone," she said, shaking her head. "You're always trying to make everyone feel better, even when you don't know them."

I shrugged. "I guess it's just how I was raised. I'm always trying to make sure people know they're not alone. Especially when it comes to things like being a jinchuriki. No one should have to suffer alone."

She smiled softly at me. "I guess that's one of the things I like about you."

We arrived at a quieter part of the village, where I could see the Kage's office in the distance. Temari stopped and turned to me. "I know you're here for the negotiations, but... thanks. For everything."

"No problem, Temari," I said with a grin. "I'm just here to make sure things work out for everyone, including you guys."

Before I could say anything else, she let go of my arm and stepped back, a little more serious now. "I'll make sure to talk to Gaara and Kankuro. They're still not used to this whole... alliance thing. But they'll come around."

"I know they will," I said confidently. "Let's make sure we build something strong together, yeah?"

She nodded, her eyes gleaming with determination. "Yeah. I think we can make this work."

With that, Temari headed off to join her siblings, and I turned back toward where Shikaku and the rest of the group were heading to the Kazekage's office. My thoughts briefly wandered to the upcoming negotiations, but I knew the most important thing was the bonds we were starting to form between Konoha and Suna. Things were changing, and I was more than ready to help make sure it was for the better.

"Hey, they can handle the negotiations; let's enjoy ourselves," I suggested with a grin.

"But, Naruto..." Temari began to protest, but I cut her off.

"No buts," I said firmly. "I can see it in your eyes—you're exhausted. Take a day off. I know how much you love your village, but don't worry about it. Nothing will happen to the village as long as I'm alive. You know how much I care about my loved ones. And since you've become one of them, your village is my responsibility too. So, take care of yourself, alright?"

Temari paused for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, thanks, Naruto. And don't think I forgot about what Sakura said. I need to know exactly what this 'sister' thing means."

I chuckled. "Okay, okay, take it easy. I'll explain. But first, show me our village."

She narrowed her eyes playfully. "Alright, but you better spill everything."

With that, she led me to her favorite places in the village, and I couldn't help but feel excited to explore more of the hidden corners she cherished.

As Temari led me through Suna, I couldn't help but appreciate the unique beauty of the village. The sand dunes stretched endlessly around the town, and the architecture was unlike anything in Konoha, with buildings designed to withstand the harsh winds and the scorching heat. Temari took me to various places—her favorite tea shop, a peaceful garden in the middle of the village, and even a quiet rooftop where we could look out over the sandstorms in the distance.

It was clear that despite the harsh conditions, Suna had a charm all its own, and Temari seemed to find solace in the places she loved most. "This is one of the few places where I can actually relax," she said as we sat down at the rooftop, the wind whipping around us. "It helps me clear my mind after a long day."

"I can see why," I said, glancing around. "This place has a calmness to it, even if it's surrounded by so much chaos."

Temari nodded and took a deep breath. "I know I've got a lot of responsibility, but sometimes I forget to take a step back and enjoy the little things."

I smiled at her. "Well, that's why I'm here, right? To remind you to take it easy once in a while."

She gave me a soft smile in return before narrowing her eyes playfully. "Alright, Naruto, you've got my attention. Now tell me what Sakura meant by 'sister.' I need answers."

I couldn't help but laugh. "You're not going to let this go, are you?"

"Not until I get a straight answer," she said, crossing her arms, her expression firm.

With that, I opened up about myself and my dream to revive my clan and build a large harem as part of restoring it. I shared that I already had a handful of lovers. As I looked at her, I saw a mix of emotions crossing her face.

"Temari, I know that many women don't like sharing their man with others, but this is my dream," I said sincerely. "So, what is your dream?"

She smiled softly. "It's okay, Naruto. I can understand. My dream isn't as grand as yours—it's simply to protect my village and my family. That's all that matters to me."

I nodded thoughtfully. "Hey, there's no dream too big or too small. What matters is the effort we put into achieving it. So, what do you think? Will you help me with mine?" I teased her with a playful grin.

Temari gave me a serious look, her voice steady but with a hint of affection. "Alright, Naruto. But you have to love me the same way you love the others. Don't neglect any of them, or you'll have to deal with my wrath."

I smiled, assuring her. "Do you really think I would neglect any of you? You're all treasures to me—priceless. I promise, I will never neglect any of you. Not ever."

She relaxed, satisfied with my response. "Okay, then. Let's go. I have so many places to show you."

I chuckled, standing up as she pulled me along. "Take it easy. There's plenty of time."

Temari looked back at me with a determined expression. "No, Naruto. I don't know when we'll get another chance to meet again. So, I need to make the most of today, creating memories with you."

With that, we continued our date, enjoying the rest of the day until the sunset.
