Elvira tiptoed around the hut. No one was standing outside to catch her. With her ill luck, it could have been Ezra or Wivior himself.

Wivior was still sound asleep on the floor. She took off her dress and joined him in bed. His arms wrapped around her waist, and once her back touched the mattress, his eyes opened, "Where did you go, my love?"

"I needed to relieve my bladder," she answered with a nervous grin.

"I had a dream about you. Your body slipped out of my arms. I couldn't find you anywhere." His voice was soft yet tensed.

"Oh well, it was only a dream, my sweet love," she said. Their lips touched briefly.

"There were these strange men around you," he continued.

"Well, there is no one but us here," she said.

"There are more things, in reality, wanting to hurt you. The curse, your fiancé." 

Elvira sighed. "I don't know how we'll be able to get rid of those assassins now that Quinn is gone."
