Tan Mo felt a gush of relief and delight fill her heart.
She turned her head and bared her lips for Wei Zhiqian.
Wei Zhiqian let out a throaty chuckle.
Hearing that voice, Tan Mo felt her body turn to a puddle of goo.
How could a voice be so soothing? It was music to her ears.
"Momo?" Wei Zhiqian called out.
"Hmm?" Tan Mo's ears trembled, and the tips of her ears flushed crimson.
"Can you try calling me Brother Zhiqian just once?" Wei Zhiqian asked.
Tan Mo could not seem to bring herself to say those two words.
She still remembered that when she first met Wei Zhiqian as a child, that was exactly what she had called him.
But Wei Zhiqian insisted that she called him Uncle.
After addressing him that way for so many years, she found it hard to call him differently, even though she had now declared her affections for him and they could finally date like actual lovers.
