Howard's face revealed his confusion but the little sister did not have the chance to help him out as a knock sounded on the door, interrupting their conversation.

In the next second, the door was pushed open even before permission could be granted.

Noticing that the one who had rudely entered the room was the same person whose name had just been uttered, Howard furrowed his brows together while watching him in silence.

"Yes?" Jax, the butler, who had walked into the room fixed his gaze on the young master as he walked in their direction.

When Jax had just reached the entrance of this room and was about to knock on the door, he had heard the incredulous tone with which Howard had called out his name.

Therefore, after he had walked in, he alternated his curious gaze between the siblings who had been left inside this room for the last few minutes.
