Capítulo 9: Chapter 9 - Void
It was almost dinner but Zhang was still fully immersed in playing league, he was shouting profanity at his buddies in teamspeak, while flooding all chat with "I f*cked your mother." derogatory words were exchanged between both sides as they fought hard in mid even with all mid lane turrets of both sides destroyed.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang and distracted Zhang's focus. He spread his spirit sense and saw that it was Liu Qingrong, holding a bunch of paper bags from a famous clothing store.
He grew excited when he saw that some of these paper bags contained clothes for men. It has been a week since someone bought him branded clothes.
He rushed towards the door and happily opened it. "Welcome back." he warmly said as he gently took the paper bags away from Liu Qingrong's hands.
"Who did you shop with?" Zhang asked with a slight jealous tone.
Liu Qingrong replied monotonically "A friend. By the way, is it fine if I stay here until I can find a place to rent?"
"You can always stay here" Zhang hugged her from behind. "Tell me, why do you look so worn out? I'll be here to listen to whatever's bugging you and will help you solve it. Okay?"
Liu Qingrong started tearing up. Hearing it from someone who's intimate with her gave her a warmth feeling compared to the same empty words from some random stranger. She really wanted to tell him all her pent up frustrations these past few months.
"Just let it all out, okay? By the way, I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I've cut all of the women I was with after I encountered you yesterday." his hug gently turned tighter and this gave Qingrong a feeling that he's able to protect her from any harm.
"Really? Are you speaking the truth right now?" Liu Qingrong softly asked as she turned around to look at him in his eyes.
"Yes, now come and let's talk about this on the sofa." Zhang led her into the living room with her hand tightly held by his.
He prepared a glass of water and gave it to Liu Qingrong who still looked quite beautiful even after crying.
"Zhang, actually there were already talks for me to have arranged marriage with the Xao's family young master since last week and it was finalized yesterday morning. I don't even like him, not even the slightest good feeling for him." She broke down in tears again as she hugged him tightly while she cried her bawls out.
How dare that guy even have the guts to marry the woman I am fond of!? Heh, I'll make your life a living hell. Just you wait, you cunt kai.
Zhang's flame of anger sparkled as he formed up a way to destroy the man and make him feel the biggest despair. Clenching his fists was the only way to vent his anger for the meantime as comforting Liu Qingrong was the top priority as this is the way to make her fall deeper and be emotionally dependent on him.
With his power, he could instantly wipe the man from the face of earth or even banish him to hell but Zhang wanted more, he wanted to watch the step by step process where his enemies fell into despair. The look of those faces would be enough to entertain him for a while.
"Zhang, let's elope together. We can live in a different city. Plus, I've saved up enough money for us to establish our own business together." She stared at Zhang with her eyes full of hope.
Zhang reciprocated with an intense gaze and he said resolutely "No, we will go to your family to tell them that I am the one you'll be marrying. Let's go register for a license tomorrow before we go there, okay?"
"You're not joking, right? We're really going to marry!?" Liu Qingrong couldn't believe her ears as she laid down her head on his shoulders.
"Of course I'm serious, you should take a rest. I'll bring you to bed and I'll join you after I eat." Zhang held her with both of his hands in a princess carry, he could see that Liu Qingrong was still feeling a little bit restless "Silly girl, I'll be here to protect you from now on. So be at ease."
"Thank you, Zhang." Liu Qingrong took the initiative to kiss him on the cheeks before she covered herself up with the quilt. Her face was blushing like a maiden in love.
Zhang chuckled "Alright, sweet dreams baby."
His face changed into an icy cold look as soon as he stepped out of his room, he went towards the window and lit a cigarette up.
Seconds later, a hole appeared in front of him. Inside the hole was pure darkness but you could feel the presence of a powerful creature. This creature was one of the creatures Zhang created since he woke up from his meditation. A void being that could cross through the void to appear everywhere on earth in a matter of seconds. Its appearance couldn't be seen due to the darkness but a bunch of tentacles sprouted out of the hole.
"I want all the information on this kid right now." Zhang talked while he inhaled the smoke. In a moment's notice, countless information of everything that happened in Xao Kai's life flooded through his mind.
Ah! So 3 months ago, he was chosen by a system… What the hell, I thought the system world was destroyed during the war. A lot has really changed while I was away and I would have let this garbage continue on if he didn't cross paths with me. I wonder how this b*tch boy would cry once I took everything away from him...
Aiya! So his company manages the largest real estate right now in the province… hehe. You dare covet my woman, then I will take away your most precious system and business, little shit.
"Void, start preparing to take over his business once I wipe out his system in front of him. Use a clone or whatever to run their company in my stead. Begone now!" Zhang coldly said with a devilish smile. This was the first time Zhang would do something like this during his stay since no one rich enough angered him this much and right now he wouldn't mind picking up some free cash along with Kai's path to destruction.
"As you wish, My Lord."
A robot-like voice rang in his mind and the hole disappeared.
After finishing the cigarette, Zhang ate and went back into his room. Liu Qingrong was still covered by the quilt but he could sense that she was deep in sleep. He gently laid down beside her and he couldn't help as his hand went under the quilt to sneakily enter Liu Qingrong's t-shirt.
Zhang fell asleep with his hand on her breasts and Liu Qingrong was too deep in her sleep to wake up from this.
