—Micah—
We reached the hospital where they put Luke after the operation in the secret facility. He had a thick bandage around his waist to his chest. He was sleeping peacefully and I am happy that he is breathing. Not just that. Janice said that his complexion was better than before. He could wake up anytime soon.
Everyone let me stay alone with my husband while two bodyguards were guarding outside the door. I reached my husband's hand and gently placed it to my stomach. He will be very happy once he wakes up. I bent down and kissed his forehead and then his lips.
"Luke, I'm here," I spoke softly. "And I have good news for you. But you have to wake up."
I waited for him to respond but nothing. I took out his pocket watch from my purse and put it in his hand.
"The time is ticking in this place. You aren't in the Crimson Valley anymore. And, you are safe."
