"Yeah… I guess you're right Sophia, you do have a point."
"What do you mean Lady Melissa? I'm always right."
"Sure Sophia… sure…."
"Anyways Sophia, if you don't mind I have to do something, I'll be right back."
"Okay sure thing Lady Melissa, I'll be waiting for you."
Lady Melissa exited the room Sophia was in, quickly trying to find Derick.
She didn't want to shout, or else she would be alerting Sophia.
So instead Lady Melissa quietly searched for Derick.
That was when she finally saw him in the dining room.
"Derick, thank God you're here I've been searching for you this whole time!"
"Good afternoon Lady Melissa, may I know why you were searching for me the whole time?"
"Haha, actually about that…"
Lady Melissa tried to avert her eyes from Derick.
"I need you to call the doctor who checked on Sophia last time again."
"Oh? Is that all you need Lady Melissa?"
"Yeah, just make sure that nobody finds out once again."
"Alright Lady Melissa."
"Alright thanks Derick."
Lady Melissa quickly went back into the room Sophia was in.
Knocking on the door, Lady Melissa said.
"I'll come in now Sophia? If you don't mind?"
"Oh yeah sure, come in Lady Melissa."
Though Sophia was Lady Melissa's maid, Lady Melissa would often knock on her doors before entering as she understood the meaning of privacy and valued it unlike some others.
"I'm back Sophia, miss me?"
"You wish."
"Wait, since I was sick, who took care of my work yesterday and today?"
"Probably one of the maids, why?"
"WHAT-? BUT THAT'S UNFAIR TO THE MAID WHO TOOK CARE OF MY WORK!"
"Geez Sophia don't worry about it, I'm going to ask my dad to implement a rule for when the maids and servants are sick, they can have the day off, without minusing the amount of day offs they can yearly, and as long as they aren't absent for more than a week because of some sickness, the employees will still be payed."
"I'm not sure about that Lady Melissa… I feel bad."
"How about this then? You take half the day off? And the other half of the day you can continue working?"
"That might as well do… besides in just a few more hours it's going to be 12 and I can continue my work from the previous day."
"Alright now that we've gotten that settled, I have someone I want you to meet."
Lady Melissa brought her hands together, before suddenly clapping it and telling the doctor to come in.
"Doctor, you can come in now."
"Alright."
"Sophia, meet the doctor that checked up on you when you were sleeping yesterday."
Sophia quickly stood up from the bed, brushing off her dress.
"I see you've woken up, I hope you are in better health now."
The female doctor spoke.
"It's nice to see you doctor."
Sophia spoke, giving a little greeting to the doctor and waving her hands a little.
"Nice to see you as well."
The doctor spoke, giving Sophia a little smile.
"I'm assuming you called me here this time to check up on your friend again Miss?"
"Yep, that's right. Although she's woken up, I just wanted you to check whether there were any negative side effects she was experiencing."
"Alright. Give me a second and I'll check on her."
Lady Melissa stared intensely at the doctor, while the doctor was checking up on Sophia's body.
Before finally the doctor had came to a halt.
"I'm done checking up on your friend Miss."
"That's good, so is she alright?"
"Yeah, though her throat might be sore and her stomach might be hungry because of the lack of food and water she had so make sure that she drinks and eats a lot."
"Alright, thank you doctor!"
Lady Melissa thanked the doctor, before opening the door for her.
"Thank you as well Doctor!"
Sophia called out to the doctor, thanking her and waving a little goodbye to the doctor.
"It was my pleasure."
As soon as the doctor closed the door, Sophia sighed a breath of relief.
"Lady Melissa, why did you get a doctor for me? AND WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME IN ADVANCE-? You have me quite the shock Lady Melissa."
"As the saying goes 'some things are better left unspoken'."
"I am on the verge of quitting right now Lady Melissa."
"Too bad for you I won't accept your resignation letter."
"Don't worry I'll give the resignation letter to Derick instead."
"Yeah, not a chance."
All of a sudden the mood had turned silent.
And Sophia was silent; it was as if she was thinking hard.
"I think I'm forgetting something about Lady Melissa but I don't know what it is."
"If you don't know what it is then it's probably not important at all."
Lady Melissa brushed it off, after all if it probably wasn't that important right?
"Yeah I guess you're right Lady Melissa."
Sophia nodded her head, before she quickly realized what she had forgotten.
"Lady Melissa, isn't your...tea party today?"
"Huh? What are you talking about Sophia?I have no tea party, at least I don't think so..."
"LADY MELISSA YOU HAVE A TEA PARTY TO ATTEND TO TODAY-"
"W-what? I don't remember being invited to a tea party or anything? Maybe you've gotten the dates mixed up or it's something else that you forgot?"
"Lady Melissa, believe me. You have a goddamn tea party to get to today, and it's in..... a few hours.
If I rush everything, maybe we'll be able to get you ready by then?"
Though Sophia was one hundred percent sure Lady Melissa had a tea party to get to, Lady Melissa was quite doubtful of Sophia's words.
Lady Melissa didn't remember anything about tea parties or even getting invited to one.
"Are you sure I have a tea party to get to Sophia?"
"Lady Melissa, how many times do you want me to tell you that YES, YOU DO HAVE A TEA PARTY TO GET TO!"
