After arriving in the city, they didn't waste any time and directly went to the Formation Guild building in the city to teleport back to the Royal Palace instead of wasting their time lingering around in this city.

They both came to the conclusion that it was better to go to the Royal Palace and directly convince the king rather than waste their time convincing every city because the king had absolute authority inside his kingdom and could make their job manifold easier.

With the identity cards from the Arcane Academy, it was really easy for them to access the teleportation formation, which would take them directly to the Royal Palace.
