Amberine sat hunched over her desk, a scowl on her face as she reviewed her notes from Draven's class. The late afternoon sun cast a golden glow through the window, illuminating the array of papers scattered before her. She had two notebooks open: one filled with hastily scribbled notes taken during class and another, neater one, where she meticulously rewrote and expanded on the material to ensure she understood it. The first notebook was a chaotic jumble of ideas, half-formed thoughts, and quick sketches, while the second was a well-organized collection of insights and comprehensions.
