Capítulo 146: NO NEED TO FORCE

The whole dining hall was silent with human voices. All that could be heard was simply the soft clicking of the utensils and with a steady beat from Leira's plate. Leira was staring blankly at her food and playing on it. She had been trying to poke the meatballs with her pork, but it always rolled away, and her fork never got through it. 

Yeah, everything seemed to be awkwardly silent until her dad had decided to break it. 

"Leira is having a hard time with the meatballs or just playing on it?" 

Leira didn't respond, and that wasn't actually what bothered her presently with her contemplative face. Her mind was somewhere else, specifically her dare. Although Dennise had advised her to take the ring and get married, she was still unsure if she could do it. 

"Leira, don't you like the food? Maybe you prefer fresh salad more?" Leira's mom's voice was louder and was penetrating more in her ears, and it caught her attention with a startle.
