Capítulo 13: Chapter 13

Night time slowly approached as the driver stopped to lit up the lanterns on the carriage a bright red and yellowish hue appearing immediately clearing the darkness so that the horses could see.

Meanwhile inside the carriage Deva was battling with tiredness that had washed over her suddenly, she yawned and rested her chin on her hand staring at the window.

She loved looking out the window she could see a lake nearby and little bunnies running to their burrows, they looked so plump and fluffy that she just wanted to cuddle them.

Slyvian felt the carriage was too quiet and turned to look at Deva he immediately fell into a daze.

Her blonde locks fell to her face softly as a small smile played around her lips, she looked ethereal like she didn't belong in this world, like she had fallen down from heaven!

"What's so interesting about looking out the window.."

Deva turned when and smiled she always liked traveling because she would get the opportunity to see and learn about new things and when she saw the lake she felt it had some sort of charm to it compelling her to it.

"Seeing news things..I saw bunnies heading into their burrows they were so plump and fluffy. I just wished I could cuddle them.."

"I can be your bunny...you can cuddle me all night I don't mind.."

Deva blushed she found it hard to picture Slyvian as a helpless little bunny, yet again he wanted her to cuddle him all night.

"Bunnies are cute and small, you're a grown up.."

"Am I not cute.."

Deva's lips twitched cute was not the world to describe Slyvian rather it was devilishly handsome and seductive.

"No!.."

"Then what am I.."

Deva thought for a while thinking of the appropriate words to say, she smiled this words suited Alex perfectly.

"A big bad wolf.."

Now it's was Slyvian's lips turn to twitch as a grin appeared on his face being a big bad wolf wasn't so bad.

"And do you know what big bad wolves do to little girls like Deva.."

Deva shook her head she did not even want to know but coming from Slyvian it was probably something lewd.

"Why don't I show you what i do to little rabbit .."

Slyvian husky and deep voice made Deva shivered as a millions thoughts appeared in her mind, Slyvian was a dangerous man and there was a tiny voice in Deva's head that was always telling her to run away, but she knew deep down that no matter where she ran to he would always find her.

Slyvian stared into her eyes, her emerald orbs always mesmerized him whenever he stared into them, it was filled with fear and that was the one thing he didn't wished to see in her fear.

Out of all the scariest things she had seen, she only showed fear whenever she was around him, he wanted her to be herself and not a fearful and cautious rabbit .

"It's getting late you should sleep, you can rest on my shoulders i promise not to do anything to you.."

Deva was shocked he wouldn't do anything to her not even kiss, she sighed a tiny part of her was looking forward to that kiss.

Just when she was about to rest her head he gave her a soft kiss on her lips it was light and gentle like a feather touching the water.

Dazed she didn't know when he stopped and subconsciously leaned closer to him, Slyvian bit his lips trying to control his desires as he used his hand to place her head on his shoulder.

"Sleep...you'll get more tomorrow..."

Deva blushed and buried her face in his shoulders, she knew he was a killer but she never once smelled the scent of blood on him. He always smelled of sandalwood and it gave her comfortable feeling when she laid her head on his shoulder.

Deva yawned softly and slowly closed her eyes it wasn't long before she fell into deep sleep.

Slyvian finally peered down at the little woman who's head threatened to fall down at any minute, he chuckled and turned his body so she could lie on his chest,his strong arms wrapped around her as the man stared into the starry night.

His red orbs glowed as he surveyed their periphery, it was only the trees gently swaying from side to side, crickets chirping

in the bushes that could be heard.

Dawn slowly settled in as the warm rays embraced Deva's face, her eyelashes fluttered like the wings of a butterfly and her eyes slowly opened,wincing as her eyes slowly adjusted to the light.

She wanted to get up but she felt a force wrapped around her waist, looking up to see a broad chest, his skin was milky white she felt it was even better than hers.

Feeling Deva's movements Slyvian opened his eyes, his black eyes stared down at her as a small smile appeared on his face.

Deva was stunned Slyvian inky black hair fell to his face, coupled with her body and his arms around her waist she couldn't take her eyes off him.

The man before her was just too good looking..no, good looking was an understatement, she had never seen a man this handsome in her life.

"Did you sleep well.."

His voice was hoarse probably exams when just woke up but when she heard it she felt her heart stir everything about this man was absolutely stunning.

"Yes I slept well what about you, you must be uncomfortable.."

Deva spoke softly seeing Slyvian sleeping position she knew he didn't have a comfortable sleep and it was because of her.

"I'm stronger than you think Slyvian, I think I can handle sleeping uncomfortably.."

Slyvian remembered how her head would sway from side to side on his shoulder and chuckled, as long he was around he would never allow her to suffer.

"Okay.."

Deva smiled and wanted to get up but Slyvian arms was still around her waist, she looked at him hinting for him to remove his arms but he acted blindly to it.

"What's wrong.."

His face showing concern eventhough he knew what Deva was hinting at, but he wanted her in his arms a little longer.

"Could you remove your hands from my waist..."

Deva muttered slowly as her voice slowly died down, Slyvian chuckled and released her from his embrace and Deva quickly shuffle to the other side but where could she run to in a medium sized carriage.

"Come..let's go get a bath ready for you.."

Deva nodded and followed Slyvian she wondered where they were going to take their baths as there weren't any bathrooms arounds.

She saw Slyvian walking towards a cave she quickly increased her speed to catch up to him only to see that he had stopped.

She peeped out to see different holes filled with water and there was simply holes just like that, the cave was bright and surprisingly warm which was very different from what she had read about caves.

"I made this myself some time ago.."

Deva was awestruck Slyvian knew how to make caves, this beautiful cave was man made she glanced at Slyvian she felt there was more to him than meets the eye.

She received another shock when she was fire appearing in his hands, it was really boring to be human other creatures had insane and interesting abilities.

"You know how to control fire.."

Slyvian nodded this was one of his abilities, but he didn't tell her that he liked seeing the surprise and admiration in her face.

"I'll heat the water up for you and you can go get clothes.."

Deva nodded and went back to the carriage, she didn't see Ethan went she arrived only the driver who was feeding the horses.

She didn't ask the driver where Ethan had gone to but only thought her clothes and materials she would use to bathe and left for the cave.

Slyvian had heated the water and waited for Deva to return, she touched the water and gasped how did he know this was the temperature of water she used to bathe.

"Hurry up before the water gets cold.."

Deva nodded and began to remove her clothes when she stopped and tuned back to see Slyvian staring at her.

"Could you leave.."

Slyvian pouted he was only here to protect her what if something attacked her while she was bathing.

"Okay..Later I'll take to go see a friend of mine he lives in the sea.."
