"Why? Do you think that after all this, you can just 'hehe' and 'haha' your way out of it?" Ashton shot her a sharp glare. "You'll suffer more than you can imagine." He sneered. "I can't stand people who pretend to be brave just to make a last-ditch effort, because you know what? Courage won't save you."

In one swift motion, Ashton stepped forward and grasped Delilah's neck, his grip tightening. "Now, should we end this drama that I never agreed to act in?"

Delilah choked, gasping for air, her eyes widening in panic. "Ye–yes," she stammered, struggling to breathe. Her hand fumbled behind her, fingers brushing the handle of a pocket knife tucked into her back pocket. With a sudden burst of desperation, she yanked it free and aimed for Ashton's neck in a sharp, quick motion.
