The hot red debris cleared away to reveal the muscular specimen with orange-red sizzling wounds, standing on the destroyed soil like a rabid beast.

The doll said as it watched Sentras, who slowly turned his charred face toward it.

The sound seemed so menacing, full of a different kind of hate for life.
