"I haven't eaten yet." Ah Chuan came up with something that was out of the blue, "I came to find you without eating breakfast, and I helped you. Don't you think you should treat me to lunch?"
"I just said I would treat you, but you were the one who said no." How could he change his expression so quickly?
"But you didn't agree to my request, did you?"
"Okay, you choose the place," Luo Qi said huffily.
Looking at her puffed cheeks, Ah Chuan's face brightened with a smile, "Let's go to your place; it's been a long time since I've had your cooking."
She used to cook for him whenever she was free; he never thought it was anything special, but once he could no longer have it, he missed it immensely.
He didn't know if this was what people referred to as being self-deprecating; he only knew that at that time, he knew he liked her.
He couldn't be without her.
