Capítulo 60: Freedom

The doctor was done checking on her; he prescribed some drugs, which Nel had to go get.

Grace was still unconscious. "Why isn't she awake yet?" Mr. Wang asked worriedly, and Raymond hurried upstairs. He ignored them and walked into Grace's bedroom.

He found her sleeping on her bed; her face had a little blush. "When will she wake up?" he asked, and the doctor checked his watch.

He couldn't determine when, but he just wanted to give him a meaningful time and escape from there.

"In less than an hour," the doctor answered, and Raymond sighed. Yesterday,  he got so angry and scared her.

How did she end up in this situation? He wondered, "Will she be okay?" He asked. He didn't care about her, but about her life, which was important to him.

Raymond convinced himself that all he needed was for her to be alive.

"Mr. Xu, I will take my leave now," the doctor said without responding to his previous question, and Raymond frowned at him.
