Grace watched him sleep peacefully and wondered if he was just sleepy, and that's why.

But the thought that he had been injected had already clouded her mind. She crouched towards him and placed the back of her hand on his forehead, and his temperature was a little high.

"Maybe because it's hot," she tried to convince herself.

"Raymond," she called, but he didn't answer.

"Ray," she called again, and he opened his eyes and stared at her. "What?"

"Did you get injected?" She questioned him, and he snorted and closed his eyes.

"I told you the blood was nothing; stop being paranoid."

She pouted and stood up, picked up her phone, and walked out of the house. walked for a while, took a cab, and gave her address.

She couldn't trust Ling Ye or anyone, but at least she could talk to her mom. Her mom wouldn't do something that would hurt her, so she trusted her mom to be honest with her.
