Peter was just lying around in his shop. The door was closed, indicating that he was not accepting any customers. He felt very bored without anyone in the Seventh Alley.

He missed Raizel. This was not like the short trip to Harton. He had been gone for long and there was no one to entertain him.

He reached for a wine bottle and took a large mouthful. He did not have the kind of guts that Simon purchased, to wander around in front of the Union whether in disguise or not. He was a big coward.

His chest hurt and he drank another large mouthful of wine. Best to just get drunk. Best to just forget.
