"Is that so?"

"I think so, yes." 

"John?" Soran called him.

"Yes?"

"Should we date?" He asked him, leaving John with wide eyes and a racing heartbeat. 

John blinked, his expression freezing as he tried to process what he had just heard. He couldn't believe it, he thought, there was absolutely no way that Soran would just suddenly ask him to date. He sat up, looking at the vampire who stared at him with a faint smile trying to understand if this was some kind of a bad joke. If it was, well, maybe he could hate Soran one day after all.
