"Hello Nephew? How do you see your life here?" Olivera heard Alpha Jackson ask a frowning Jeremy that was still kneeling on the floor.

She had maneuvered her way through the crowd of watching people and was nearly at the front now, watching the unsettling spectacle. Already she had determined that if push came to shove, if they tried to kill her best friend, then she would activate Vee, and take Jeremy out of here.

She didn't know how Vee would do it, but she would do it anyway.
