Capítulo 144: CHAPTER 144
Upon arriving at City Hall John and Bill walked in and went up to the receptionist " Good Morning Miss" The receptionist looked up from her desk " Good Morning gentlemen what can I help you with?"
John replied "we are here to sign some paperwork regarding the Jupiter Orphanage" The receptionist smiled " Alright I will just make a call and find out where you should go" With that she picked up the phone and called up to the office.
When she hung up the Boys were directed up to the floor where the Mayors office was. When they turned to go to the elevator "Thank you for your help" then they walked off.
When they arrived on the Top floor of City Hall they were greeted by a Secretary who led them to a conference room "You can wait in here they will be with your shortly, Would you like anything while you wait?" John and Bill just Nodded " Thank you a coffee would be great if you have one "
With that she left them alone and went to make them a coffee. Ten minutes later the door was opened and the secretary entered with their coffee. Followed by the Mayor and a couple of other people. John and Bill Stood up " Nice to see you again sir" Shaking the mayors hand.
"Good Morning Gentlemen" after getting introduced to everyone else they sat down and discussed the Property and the Orphanage. One of the men said "The previous owners were not doing the right thing and when someone discovered what they were doing they ran off and the city has been fitting the bill ever since, so things are not as good as we would like them to be" John and Bill listening "We understand that is why we hope to change that and give the children a chance of a better life"
The Mayor just smiled " That is great, I am sure they will appreciate it" John and Bill replied " Yes we will be heading over there after we finish here to see what needs to be done see we can get it back in order" Bill had a thought and asked John " I was just thinking we maybe also be able to set up the Octennial league here as well"
John smiled " That is a marvelous idea" Before he Turned to gentlemen at the table " We started a Charity Foundation called Octennial League in Cooke city, Do you think Sprite City would benefit from something like that?"
One of the men at the table looked at them " I have heard of that I have friends living there, That is your foundation?" John and Bill Nodded. The Man continued " That is amazing, I believe it would be a benefit definitely"
John and Bill replied " Great, we will look into it, we have a business that we need to set up first then we can look at that" The Mayor asked " You have a business here already?" John replied " Yes Sir, We are opening a Wholesale Supermarket, we have one in Cooke City , Also We bought Sunset Apartments The other day as well"
Bill continued " Yes we hired a Young Single Mother to Manage it for us,She was having a hard time So this way she can earn and income and be there for her son"
The Mayor Just Smiled " That was very nice of you" With that he passed the paperwork over " This is the paperwork for the Orphanage and including all the permits needed" John and Bill reading though everything and signed where necessary before handing it back.
Someone called the secretary to go make copies of everything. When she was done they gave John and Bill their copy and shook their hands " Nice to meet you both" One of the gentle man gave his Business card " When you are ready to set up your Charity give me a call and bring all your registration information with you and we can add Sprite city to it"
John and Bill taking the card " We Will thank you" The Mayor stood Up " I will give the Orphanage a call and let them know you are coming" After that they all said good bye then John and Bill Left.
The Mayor called the Orphanage and told them the new owners were on the way. The Men where still in the room talking " Those two young men have a bright future ahead of them" The Mayor decided to ask " What is that Charity they were talking about.
One of the Men replied " It is huge they supply the local Orphanage and shelter with there food and any necessities they need weekly, as well as anyone that needs help with anything school fees, clothes, furniture, food, It also has an apartment building attached where they offer cheap rent or free rent if needed in exchange for helping out in the charity" continuing " Rumour has it that it was originally an assignment from Cooke University Business course and a member liked it so much they started it for real"
The Mayor listening finally replied " That is amazing, Yes they are also the Two Boys who helped out during the fire with that helicopter, and from what I understand they also donated a lot to the fire department and even bought them their own Fire and rescue Helicopter"
Someone said " Seriously, why would they do all that when they are not based here?" The Mayor just shook his head " All they said was since they own a property here it was only right to support the local services"
Someone else replied " They own a property here as well?" The Mayor Nodded " They are the ones that finally bought that 200 hectare property with the lake on it" They all just looked amazed "They truly are remarkable especially since they are so young"
Everyone just nodded after they finished talking they all left to go back to their offices. Mean while John and Bill had left the building and were heading towards the Orphanage.
