Capítulo 119: Worried About Devin

Angeal completely hid behind the pillar. Her face looked perturbed as she clenched on to her chest to calm her troubled heart.

'Why did he do this?'

Tears started forming in her eyes. She suddenly remembered what had happened last night when she cried because she told him her wishes.

'Did he do this because I wished for a voice last night?'

Hearing what Devin said that he didn't want to see her sad, Angeal's tears escaped from her eyes. She started sobbing silently, her hand covering her mouth to muffle her voice.

'How could he do this? Why?'

The memory of Devin saving her from the rapists flashed in her mind. She remembered that he ate their souls forcefully, lessening his lifespan. He did this to save her... but now he dared to sacrifice half of his life, too? Just for her to have a voice?

With these thoughts in mind, Angeal's heart started to ache. She closed her eyes shut, making tears uncontrollably escape from her eyes.
