Capítulo 288: Can't Help Falling In Love

Surprising Angeal again, Devin stood up, carrying Angeal in his arms. 

"H-hey!"

"It's quicker going to bed this way."

The moment Devin put Angeal down on the bed, she made another attempt to escape. Not wanting to let her go, Devin caught her by the wrist again, making Angeal panic as she felt his tightening grip. 

"Being with you in bed is dangerous!"

Devin knew what she meant. Angeal was referring to their kiss a while ago, and with that in mind and with Angeal's anxiety, the Soul Eater could not help but laugh, making Angeal narrow her eyes at him. 

"I'm not joking."

"Me either."

"Then why are you laughing?"

Devin did an Indian sit. He propped a hand under his chin, his elbow resting on his leg. He then smiled at Angeal, his words making her heart race as she did not expect what he said. 

"Because you're adorably cute, Angeal."

"O-oh..."
