The day had finally come. The Ryu family was preparing for a new adventure—a vacation to Songdo Resort. The early morning air was still crisp when Shim Yeong-sook, the mother, woke up earlier than usual. The kitchen had already come alive with the aromas of spices and dishes, lovingly prepared with great care. Every corner of the kitchen was filled with activity; the sizzling of pans, the rhythmic chopping of vegetables, and the warm steam rising from freshly cooked rice.

Amid the bustling preparations, light footsteps echoed from the hallway. Ryu Ji-ho, her eldest son, appeared at the doorway, his eyes still half-closed from sleep.

"Are you making food for our trip to Songdo Resort, Mom?" he asked, his voice hoarse from the morning.

"You're up already?" his mother replied, not pausing her hands as they deftly wrapped side dishes into neat containers.
