1.94% The Scheming Young Master Spoils His Wife / Chapter 6: Great Stroke

Capítulo 6: Great Stroke

"Did you weave this cloth yourself?" he asked Su Jin.

"Yes." Seeing his expression, Su Jin frowned and returned.

"I see that the patterns are a bit different from the previous batch." He weighed the cloth.

"Oh, because different lines need different methods to maximize their utility." Su Jin said obediently.

Dai Zi Shi looked at her and seemed to want to ask something, but stopped.

Su Jin guessed that he wanted to ask a few questions about these weaving techniques, but he wouldn't be able to answer even if he asked. Thinking about it, he also knew that so he didn't ask.

"Does Young Master Dai want to buy it?" Su Jin looked at the sun and asked anxiously.

Dai Zi Wu looked at her with a slight smile, then looked up at the sun, and signaled the attendants behind him to come forward.

"Seeing that you're working so hard, I'll buy a few of yours." With that, he asked the attendant to take out the purse.

Su Jin quickly explained the price, but Dai Zi Shi laughed, "I'll buy two taels of cloth from you."

"Hiss — rich people." Su Jin secretly sucked in a breath of cold air and began to count.

"Ten plain cloth with six hundred words, five flowery cloth with four hundred letters. Perfect." She handed the cloth to the servant.

"Here." Dai Zi Shi waved his hand, luring Su Jin, who was looking for a purse, over.

It was unknown when the money bag arrived at his place. He held out a flat hand with the joints spread out in front of her eyes.

The two small silver coins in his palm were glowing faintly in the sunlight.

Su Jin quickly reached out her hand to grab the silver. The moment she touched his palm, she felt a wave of warmth.

She didn't know why, but she actually shuddered a little in broad daylight.

"The silver content is 71%, reaching the standard." The System's appraising voice sounded out faintly.

Su Jin knew that the system had already scanned the room, so she relaxed. She smiled at Dai Zixian and said, "Many thanks, Young Master Dai. If you need anything next time, you can come find me."

Dai Zixian only looked at her and nodded slightly.

Su Jin didn't say much and just took the rest of the cloth and left.

Dai Zixian watched her go without moving, his eyes darkening as his fingers unconsciously traced the palm of the outstretched hand.

"Let's go." When Su Jin turned around and entered the corner, he gave the order.

The group of people got back into the carriage and headed out of the town.

After Su Jin turned around the corner, she leaned against the wall and tilted her head slightly to the side where she came from.

"They're gone." The System replied.

Ever since Su Jin had left, the System had been paying attention to the movements behind her. Su Jin knew that Dai Zixian's actions were probably due to him getting interested in the matter regarding Weaving. Su Jin thought.

No matter what, it has nothing to do with me. Su Jin muttered, then carried the bamboo basket towards the dock: "Bighead was bought by the handsome little landowner, the remaining two or three should be sold off."

She walked out of the shadow cast by the wall and blended into the bustling crowd. Perhaps she did not expect that she would have such a deep relationship with this handsome little landowner in the future.

— —

Su Jin, who sold the cloth, was very lucky. She met an uncle who bought her cloth the last time. The uncle must have experienced the quality of her cloth personally. Seeing that she was selling good cloth, he gritted his teeth and bought a plain cloth.

It's good to make clothes for your wife. He muttered with his companion beside him, and his companion was brought along to buy a flowery cloth.

After selling the cloth, Su Jin made up for the cotton thread as usual, as well as some other household items. She remembered to buy some rough pottery bowls and pots, which were used to supplement the items that were broken by the loan sharks.

Thinking about the loan shark, Su Jin's gaze turned cold again. Thinking about what they did to her mother and brother, anger rose in her heart. It was never her style to take revenge for a loss. She would eventually find a time to take revenge.

As Su Jin thought about these things, she walked into the courtyard carrying a bunch of plants and pots. Her second brother was shocked by the cold air she accidentally let out. "Sister, what's wrong?" he asked.

Su Jin calmed her emotions and replied, "It's nothing. Come, put these things inside the house." She passed the items in her hand to her second brother, then took out a paper bag and gave it to her younger sister. "Creek, come here."

Su Xi received the paper and opened it, then let out a cheer: "It's the osmanthus candy!"

Four sugar cubes were wrapped around the paper, the refined sugar wrapped in tiny pieces of osmanthus, and the sweet scent of osmanthus rose in the sunset glow.

"One per person." Su Jin looked at the candy and couldn't help but lick her lips.

In order to save money, she had never bought any sweets other than the caramel from last time.

The family happily shared the candy bar.

"Mom, today I sold the cloth for 3 taels of silver. After buying the items, I have 2 taels left, you keep them well as well." Su Jin only left some spare money and handed two taels of silver to her mother.

"Alright, I'll keep these for next time." Mother received it with a smile.

"Yes, there is one more thing." Su Jin said.

"What is it?"

"Our weaving speed will only get faster and faster. It's not good to just go to the market and find a stable sales channel, so I plan to go to the town's fabric shop to talk to them tomorrow and see if they are willing to accept our cloth."

"Sigh, I'll listen to you." Meng Qin didn't really understand Su Jin's words, but her daughter was without a doubt the pillar of support of her family, so she nodded in agreement without thinking.

In addition to finding out more news, Su Jin also planned to go to the blacksmith shop to forge some things in preparation for the next step of upgrading the loom. This plan was naturally inappropriate for her to tell her mother.

The next day, she brought her own woven fabric to the town's largest cloth factory, the Heaven's Jin Pavilion.

This place was rather quiet. Seeing this name, Su Jin silently ridiculed, and then carried the cloth into the shop.

"Dear customer, you —" The waiter was dozing off on the counter and was startled by the sound. He raised his head and said as he saw Su Jin, who was carrying a piece of cloth, and swallowed the latter half of his sentence.

"I'll sell the cloth." Su Jin smiled gently at him.

"Oh — —" The waiter stretched out his voice, and with a hint of dissatisfaction from being disturbed, he told her to bring the cloth over.

Like most people, the moment the cloth fell into the hands of the waiter, he could not help but let out a "hmm". He could see through the door, and due to working in the cloth shop, he could see more deeply than most people.

"You made this cloth yourself?"

In the face of his question, Su Jin gave a fully affirmative answer.

The waiter's expression turned serious, "I'll have to ask our manager to come out and have a look." Without waiting for a reply, she threw down the cloth and entered the back hall.

Before long, a tall and thin middle-aged man came out.
