She could not help but feel anxious as she waited to meet the Queen. After all, it was not every day that an ordinary girl like her stood before a noblewoman and shook their hand or kissed them. It still felt like she was in a dream.
Although she would have been more comforted if the King was here, remembering the warmth in his smile and his friendly eyes that looked similar to hers. But they said he might not even come.
"Just smile, and everything will be alright," Liam whispered as he came closer to her while his arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer to his body. Then, his hands rested on her hip, holding her possessively tight.
