Capítulo 14: Adventure time
They are ready to go and leave. Whiro is wearing a full set of metallic armor. Kira is wearing a tiny leather set.
They leave and started to go on the direction king Asterion suggested. A massive rock formations under the earth and it houses the next big kingdom of titans.
To get there they need to walk miles of magmatic terrain into a barren land with no living organisms just pure rock or dirt.
Whiro is well prepared both on food, water and weapons.
On the way he is asking Kira. "What do you know of the witch?"
Kira's response was "she's a powerful entity that separates underground and surface."
Whiro knew of this information already but he is curious of how she's the only one living in tenebris.
Out of nowhere an aggressive pack of hairless gorillas that stands 12ft tall is rushing towards them from a distance. A deep howling of them in addition to their weight and speed starts to shake the ground. Little rocks and pebbles are dribbling and it is intensely intimidating to hear and see.
Whiro is unsure on what to do due to the area being flat and nowhere to hide in.
Whiro chants "float and rise" and he hovers at a somewhat fast fashion. He looks at them and they are still spotted by some. A few of the these guys started to pick up something while moving.
Whiro noticed it and he immediately knew that they're going to toss something in their direction. Then a ring of magic circle starts forming around the forearm of the beast and launched rocks at an ultra sonic speed.
Whiro forms barrier that should shield them from the the rocks however it was too powerful for the type of barrier Whiro put up.
Knocking both him and Kira miles back from where they walked from. Whiro initiates a wide range attacks. He chanted "wind slash" "infernal wave" only to be blocked by one of the beasts. The beast slapped the ground and it created a big boulder in front of them. It melted only a few inches and it didn't even destroyed these boulders.
The beasts keeps getting closer and closer towards them. One of the beast leaped in the back and tossed a rock mid air. It missed Whiro and Kira but the impact made them fling back. Whiro tried to use the force to his advantage and landed on both his feet but wasn't enough to stop him so it dragged him a few more inches from where he landed to where he stopped. Kira flew in the air instead and used her wings to stop it. They both understood that these beasts are very powerful and intelligent.
Whiro decided to use high level magic to destroy them.
Whiro started chanting "strength x2 plus magic input 30%"
Whiro started to sprint forward and he got close into 3 of the beasts and he extended his arm towards them. "Explode"
The middle shattered into bits of pieces the other two lost half of their body and blood loss killed them. Whiro then hopped from their dead bodies to a different portion of the beasts. Meanwhile Kira started eating them from their legs immobilizing a good portion at the same time Whiro is finishing them with "instant burn"
The fire is blue in color and disintegrates them entirely.
After fighting for a good portion of the time Whiro and Kira are starting to feel fatigued due to constant use of mana and stamina.
At the back of the stampede a smoke of dust started to dissipate and a huge figure stood before them. A 30ft tall being that looks human is picking up the beasts like nothing and eating some of them.
Whiro started to feel an eerie feeling that radiates from that direction.
Whiro told Kira "that one is bad news"
Kira on the other hand is speechless about the situation.
The giant figure stopped and started to stomp the ground causing earthquakes. All the beasts are bouncing off the ground and some where smashed into paste. Whiro and Kira ran with some of the beasts that was also terrified.
Kira then mentioned in the midst of running "that's a titan king Asterion warned us about."
Whiro then wondered why it suddenly got dark.
The moment he looked up, his instincts told him to get away as far as possible as soon as possible. He told Kira to go back in her pocket space then he instantly chanted "teleport" .
Whiro is in shock of how big this thing is, in comparison to everything he's seen before.
It leaped towards the location they just teleported from and it was such a destructive sight where it cause a ripple effect in the ground, followed by shockwave of debris and dust.
Whiro is now curious about these titans and how many there are of them in the mountains.
Kira peeked her head out and asked Whiro "should we still go that way?"
Whiro smiled unknowingly with excitement and Kira knows what his response is goin to be.
