The man looked wearily out into the distance as he sipped on black coffee. It was his fifth cup already and it was not even noon yet. He was tired of driving and traveling. The man’s name was Ding He. A private detective hired by the Li Family to look for their granddaughter.

He has been on this case for the past 18 years. He was initially hired but nothing came of his investigation. He would renew the investigation every few years but always came up with nothing.

The Li Family was a huge conglomerate that dealt in restaurants and eateries across the country as well as internationally. They had world-renowned chefs working within their establishments all over the world. Aspiring chefs and culinary experts would clamor for a chance to be part of the upper echelons of this family's business.
