The camikenyan wine cup on the table shook as Lord Bellunder slammed the furniture with evident distress. His eyes glared at the marshals standing before him, including Gareth, the Head Marshal, who seemed very disgraced.

"My Lord, it was the Mystagogue himself, the one you had summoned to teach the Bearer," Gareth revealed.

"Bestar?" Bellunder's face contorted. "Bestar Ivyssis is an assassin?!"

"That is what the streets are saying, Your Eminence," Oson said from beside the Duke. "It seems that Bestar Ivyssis had a hidden occupation. An assassin with a hundred percent success rate."

"We found this on the courtyard." Gareth dropped a medallion on the table before the Duke.

Bellunder gazed down at it, eyebrows knitted in disarray. "An Assassin's Oath Talisman."
