Capítulo 2: Chapter 2: My Quiet Prince
It's been years since your confession in high school and your relationship with the boy, Rue has flourished well. Like the both of you promised, you have lived a life full of still, serene quiet in each other's presence, and took being together rather seriously as now the both of you work for the same company as colleagues. You're celebrating a company milestone with your department, being the dept. head you're immediately flocked to and admired by your officemates, with Rue locked under your arm around his shoulder.
Mira (Exhausted, Thanking others): No no! Thank you very much for helping with that project, without your help then we would have trouble passing it!
As you're flocked by your admirers, one of them asks:
(Hot shot, Script Guide): Hey! Are you single? Wanna go out with me?
Mira (Disgust, Disinterest): Sorry, I'm already taken, besides I don't really fancy noisy people like you
The crowed ooh'd his ass as he shuffles away clearly hurt with what you had to say. Though, that's not going to stop you from loving Rue now does it?
(Office lady, Script Guide): Ehh~ Madam Mira has a boyfriend already~? Tell us! Tell us!
Mira (Prideful, Proud): Mm~ You mean to tell me you haven't noticed yet?
You lean over to Rue who's surprised as he accepts your deep kiss, shocking everyone in the crowd around you.
Mira (Prideful, Proud): That's my boyfriend~ We've been together since High School~
Everyone started to shower the both of you with praise and congratulations, and it's always redundant. You hated what they said despite them being you and Rue's friends, but it doesn't matter, It's all fake anyways. You noticed Rue was annoyed with it too, and as you shoot him a glance, he kisses softly as he nodded. There's quite the height difference between the two of you now and you've always teased him about his height.
Mira (Whispering to Rue): Hey~ Wanna bail?
(Rue, Script Guide): Yeah… Fucking hate the party
Mira (Whispering to Rue): Yeah me too… Let's leave at 10 minutes yeah?
He nods as he sticks close to you, you smile uncontrollably before hugging Rue as you continue to chat among your officemates, as tiring it is for the both of you. As ten minutes passed by, the both of you rushed out, leaving the party and into the less noisy street.
Mira (Exhausted): HAAAAAAHHH~ WE'RE FINALLY OUUUUUTTT~
(Rue, Script Guide): Yeah… They hurt my ears…
Mira (Teasing, Gossip): Hey hey~ Did you see Rachel and Mikey earlier? They were totally making out!
(Rue, Script Guide): Oh was it them that was moaning in the background?
Mira (Teasing, Giggling): Hahahaha~ Yeah! I thought those moans were familiar turns out it was those two!
(Rue, Script Guide): Jesus, couldn't they have hold it in till they go home?
Mira (Lustful): Well~ I did try to hold mine in~
Rue gulps, but gives in, giving you a very nervous smile as he knows he's about to get devoured later in the young night sky.
Mira (Reminiscing): How long as it been… Since our confession?
(Rue, Script Guide): About… 12 years? It's been so long
Mira (Smiling, Reminiscing): Yeah… It's been so long, yet everything feels the same like nothing changed
(Rue, Script Guide): Nothing may have changed, but I think the silence is more beautiful with you around
Mira (Lovingly looks at Rue): Really… You mean that..? I'm glad~! I'm really glad I confessed to you~!
Rue smiles as he hugs Mira. You kiss his cheeks softly as you embrace him back. But, the both of you feel exhausted, and you still aren't home.
Mira (Exhausted): We should get back home, I just want to cuddle with you in bed and rest, we have two whole months in our vacation so, we have all the time for ourselves~
(Rue, Script Guide) [Agrees wholeheartedly]: Yeah, let's cuddle in bed, I'm too borked from that party.
The two of you arrive back at home, and without changing, immediately rush to the bed to cuddle.
Mira (Lovingly, Yearning): Babyyyy~ Come to me and cuddle meee~
Rue immediately rushes to your side and snuggles, you envelope him with your arms and legs, as you gave a lot of kisses. With the both of you tired and at each other's arms you feel relaxed, and recharging.
Mira (Lovingly, Softly): Ahhh~ My sweet sweet quiet lover~! I love it when we cuddle each other it's soooo relaxing~!
(Rue, Script Guide) [Really relaxed]: I know~ I can barely think I just wanna snuggle so badly~
Mira (Lovingly, Snuggling lots): I love our nights… I really really love them~ Just as much as I love you~ Just seeing you in my arms, whether we're outside, in our office or just in our home, our bed… I love it all~ As long as you're here with me I'll enjoy the world a little more than I used to~
(Rue, Script Guide): Me too… I used to not care about everything I do, getting sick, getting hurt… When you started showing me those hints, of just sitting with me when you're stressed, and then you told me that you're comfortable enough to just stay by my side even though we're quiet… It made me take care of myself more, it made me look forward for tomorrow you know? Every day, I still feel the same feeling I had that afternoon in class~
Mira (Lovingly): Yeah~ I know~ I really know~ Because I keep feeling the same warmth too~ Everytime we kiss, hug, snuggle. Just touching any part of you makes me remember our first week, our first month together~ Then it turned to years, and here we are! Here we are sweetie~! We've made it together~!
The both of you giggle, lovingly cuddling each other through the warm night. You look into his eyes one last time before the both of you doze off, and you gave him a soft, yet loving kiss.
Mira (Lovingly, Softly): I love you~ My sweet~ Quiet~ Prince~
