The two sister-in-laws exchanged a glance and made a decision within their hearts – they cannot let her continue to quarrel and must pull her away immediately.

"Mother! We shouldn't stoop to her level! Let's go back first!" Zhou Family came forward and tugged at Wu Family's arm.

Liao Family also came forward and grabbed the other arm of Wu Family's mother: "Yes, mother, we should not mind this crazy woman!"

If they had said this initially, our fellow villagers might have been convinced. But after a round of argument, Wu Family and her two daughters-in-law all looked as flustered as bedraggled hens, while the old lady appeared composed and unruffled. If anyone were to be labelled crazy, it would have been the Wu Family.
