The mansion where the Silver Shadow Knights resided was unusually quiet tonight. No matter the rain or other adverse weather, the security was always tight. But maybe it was due to consideration for her, that everyone retracted early.

Yoru easily slipped into the garden, carrying Arianell on his back. With a light jump, he ended up on the balcony on the second floor where the glass door to her room was still unlocked.

"Inheritor, are you alright?" The magical beast was worried about her.

"Yeah, it's just a rain… I could hardly see anything…" Arianell answered and wiped the water from her eyes. She was drenched from head to toe, trembling due to the cold. 

Ever since they left Randel's townhouse, she closed her eyes partly because of the storm and partly because she was overwhelmed by the conversation she had with Blaine. She tried to act tough when she was facing him, but it was all the façade and the real her was pretty intimidated inside.
