Capítulo 1: introduction

this is a story about an unfortunate girl named brook and her beastly friend. Brook was 16 years old when her story took course... on December 14th, 2008, Cornwall England Brook was driving home with her mother Esmé, her father Charles , and brother William from Christmas shopping. The ride was lively and overflowing with laughter and cheer. Suddenly... It all went dark followed by the sound of screams and broken glass and the coliding of cars... Brook couldn't breathe, the smoke emitting from the cars was unbearably thick down in the back seat of her parents car. As she coughed and gasped for air she collapsed on the seat. At that moment her life changed... Brook awoke in hospital a few days later with pale prissy nurses bustling busy all around her. She couldn't move, brook looked to her right arm, pale and slender was the highly damaged and bruised arm with an iv pierced into her skin. Almost every part of Brooks body was damaged, bandages lay wrapped around her head, arms, legs, and torso. 'what...is this?' she murmured. One of the nurses came to her and explained the ordeal and what had happened. Brook was the only survivor of the crash. Her mother, father, and brother were gone, no one was left. Brook cried in horror 'you're lieing... I refuse to believe a liar like y-you' she sobbed violently. That day she was sent to live with her aunt Denise, who was to become her legal guardian till she turns 18, where she will inherit her father's money and leave this cursed place to start anew. That will not be the case however....
