Capítulo 167: Chapter(Hundred) Sixty Six: Barren cave

At the breakfast table, Leo already pulled out a chair for Becca. It was the chair next to his, Becca espied from where she stood. He wanted her to sit next to him.

He hoped she would sit next to him.

Fernanda, who was also seated at the table, turned and noticed Becca standing not too far from them.

" Darling, there you are." Fernanda motioned for her to come over. " Join us for breakfast." 

Becca's gaze fell on the seat next to Leo once more, then her eyes wandered to Leo for a mere fleeting moment. Just like her, he was fully dressed for work; a black three-piece suit that hugged his broad frame perfectly.

Angry or not, she couldn't deny that he looked nice, really nice while Fernanda at the other side of the table, looked as lithe as ever, the soft colors of her blouse comely. Both had gorgeous etched in their genes.

Before Becca could consider looking away, Leo, slowly, lifted his eyes and for a quick second, they met each other's gazes.
