Capítulo 229: Old Age and Wisdom

"You almost died," the current knight said as Ava was drinking the healing potion. "Why not rest for this floor?"

How could someone continuously fight since they survive the first floor?

"I don't think the gold will become lesser if you fight tomorrow," he continued. This woman had been fighting nonstop without eating or resting. He couldn't help but wonder if she was running from something.

"No," Ava responded. "I'm fine. Let's go. Lead me to the next floor."

"But— " the knight looked at Ava then he shrugged. "Alright."

Ava nodded. She needed to finish everything as fast as she could to get back to Matthew. She could feel him and she knew that he was in danger. She could only hope that he would be there once she was back.

She shouldn't have stayed away, she thought as she walked inside the next floor.
