The vibe with which Kenan woke up was now lost. Even though he had no idea what the holding of hands between Zach and Alma was all about, he still felt uncomfortable for no reason. He grit his teeth as he unsheathed the sword while Princess Ellie watched in awe.

Ellie noticed his discomfort but chose not to say anything or do anything about it. In fact, she was having the fun of her life and was proud for a second that the whole drama was playing out because of her handiwork. She was definitely enjoying the look on his face -- it was a look that depicted confusion with a little hint of jealousy. Jealousy that he was trying to hide not knowing that she had already taken note of it. 

The only thing that Ellie had in mind at that moment was that she didn't want a situation where he would lose focus because of the situation and injure her with his sword all in the name of training her because she feared for her skin greatly.
