Iris hesitated, her gaze fixed on Persie. Doubt gnawed at her, uncertain if she should reveal everything she knew about Cole's recent actions.

Letting out a weary sigh, Iris spoke up, hoping to bring comfort to the distraught Persie. "Stop biting your lip. I promise you, everything will be alright."

Persie's head shook vehemently, tears cascading down his face. "You don't understand," he choked out, his voice quivering with a mixture of pain and frustration. "I have feelings for Demetrius. I shouldn't be feeling anything for Cole, let alone be hurt by him spending the night with Astra."
