Capítulo 26: 1.26 Playing

Cole exited the limo and extended his hand to Persie, who took it as they walked hand in hand into the building.

Once inside, Cole pressed the elevator button and they waited for it to arrive. As they stepped inside, Cole pressed the button for the second floor and then turned to face Persie.

"What were you doing near the stables?" Cole inquired.

Persie found it difficult not to smile, knowing that Cole had been spying on him. Cole not only knew that Persie had released the animals, but he had also seen him kissing Nicholas.

"I had something to take care of," Persie replied with a mischievous smile.

Cole narrowed his eyes and pulled Persie closer. "Did you enjoy the hunt?" he asked.

Persie shook his head. "I told you before, I don't enjoy killing innocent animals."
