Calliope's head was still throbbing when she recalled the revelation of truth last night. She hadn't thought that something like this could also happen. 

Apparently, Laxamus Von Dyke had gathered proof that pointed out that her father's death was a planned murder, not a natural death and this led to another assumption if her late husband was also murdered. If the plane accident wasn't just an accident but a planned murder. 

Of course, for this, they had to gather proof and they didn't have enough proof for now. 

As to how these assumptions and investigations started, it started when the current Duke, Amadeo Wilding was almost poisoned to death, if not for the fact that Jane had got the whiff of conspiracy, he would have been poisoned to death too. 

The question arises – who wanted to kill the leaders of the Wilding clan and what could they achieve by killing them?

There were many reasons why people wanted to kill the heads of the Wilding family.
