Finally,it was morning. The whole students were up and ready.
It was 5am in the morning, and they were all preparing fast before the time reaches.
Miss Angela came to check on the students and see how the preparation was going.
"Welcome my lady.
Are you ready for the competition?"
"I was born ready John.
I can't wait to see how this years pirate quest goes", Miss Angela said. Looking at all the crews.They were preparing the cameras,drones and other devices needed.
She takes a look at her watch,and looks upstairs.
Then she asked John," This is to 6.
Where are the participants?
Ain't they ready yet?".
"They are.
They should be... Ah yes!,here they come", John said. Pointing up the stairs.
The students were dressed. They were heading down the stairs,looking excited.
" Here comes our pirates",John chuckles.
"Nice outfits.
At least,they have their school initials on their belt.I was about to ask", she smirks at him.
The students came down the stairs.
Well not all of them.
Lisa came out with her teams,as they headed down the stairs at the same time.
They were putting on white and deep blue.She was putting on the hat,with the school initials on it.
Her belt had diamond stones around it.
Some girls that saw her outfit,admired it.It was amazing.
" Beautiful outfit ",one said.
A guy then asked," How come her outfit is better than the other girls own?".
"That's because she's the reigning champion. She's bound to look better than the others", another boy said.
Lisa and her team came downstairs.
They headed towards John and Miss Angela. And they greeted them.
" Greetings to you too.
Nice outfit",Miss Angela complimented. Leaving Lisa happy.
Miss Angela looked and noticed that the Golden castle where not present.
She looked round,and faxes John.
She then asked,"John?..,where are.....Oh!
Here they come"
She smiles.
Lisa had a devilish smile on her face.
She looks and sees only Treasure,the boy and the girl in his team.
They were looking good.
Treasure was putting on a long black coat,with a black hat.A white inner top,and a golden belt around his black trousers.The belt had the Golden castle's initials 'G',around it.
The others were dressed like his crew.
Lisa blushed on seeing him.
Miss Angela loved his style.
"Nice!
Captain Gold", she said.
Treasure and the other two came downstairs.
He looked upstairs,and wondered why Christiana and Blessing were taking long to come out.
He moves close to the girl and asked," Where are they?
I thought they were coming out".
"Actually..., there's a problem", she whispered to Treasure. Treasure became worried.
" Problem?
What..what kind of problem?",he asked.
The girl told them.
Lisa had a bog smile on her face.
Seeing Treasure and the rest worried,she knew that her plan was successful.
Miss Angela and John could only see the three of them.
John then asked,"Captain Gold..,where are your remaining crews? ".
Treasure couldn't give an answer.
"How do I tell them that Christiana and Blessing are not ready yet?
Their outfit has been ruined by someone", he thought to himself.
Miss Angela asked, noticing the strange look on his face," Treasure.., is there a problem? ".
" Well...em..",he stammered.
Seeing this as an opportunity to get rid of Christiana and Blessing, Lisa said,acting serious and passionate," Your team are delaying us here.
It's almost 6.We ate supposed to be at the Pirate island,preparing for the quest.
But your..."
Before she could say anything else, Christiana and Blessing came out.
Lisa became stunned.
Treasure and the other students looked up. They were mesmerized by what they saw.
Miss Angela and John gasped in amazement.
"Alas!!
Are me eyes deceiving me?
They..they look like real pirates", John exclaimed.
Miss Angela smirked and said," The Golden castle always steal the spotlight. I love their style".
Treasure was flabbergasted.
Christiana was looking like a real pirate indeed.
Her dark brown boots,marched her dark brown coat.She also had her own Hat.
Adeola had designed the hat,just like in the movie,'Pirates of the Caribbeans'.
Just like Jack sparrows hat.
The belt had the school's initials.
The belt was from the organization.
Blessing was looking like one of the crew.Her outfit showed was designed like one of the toughest and strongest pirate crew.
They were looking amazing.
Lisa couldn't believe her eyes.
Where did they get another outfit?
That was the question in Lisa's mind.
The both of them came downstairs.
Blessing had the boxes in her hand.
The both of them joined their team.
Christiana saw Treasure staring at her.
She wondered why he was staring at her like that.But before she could ask, Miss Angela said out loud to Mr John,"Impressive Captain John. You never told me that you had so much love for the Golden castle students.
I love their outfit,really ".
" I appreciate your compliment my lady,..but we never gave them this outfit",John said,looking astonished.
Miss Angela looked at him surprisingly.
That's when Christiana said,"He's right Ma.
The organization didn't sew these outfits. We brought it.
Our friend was the one that made it for us".
Everyone became amazed.
Treasure was amazed by this.
Lisa didn't like this at all.
Her plan has been ruined.
"Why did you put on your friend's outfits?
What about the ones we gave the both of you?", John asked.
" Sir!,that's why we brought the boxes downstairs",Blessing quickly said.Dropping the boxes down and opening it.
She brings the outfit out.Leaving John astonished.
"What is this?", he asked.
The outfits were torn into pieces.
All the students gasped. Lisa became afraid.
" That's why we brought it sir.
When we took it in and checked it last night,we saw this",Blessing reported. Showing the pieces to them.
"As far as I remember, I never sent this pieces to you girls", John said.Looking at Miss Angela.
Miss Angela then said,looking suspicious," This only means one thing.Someone is behind this.It's clear".
All the students mumbled amongst themselves.
It was surprising.
Afraid that she might be caught,Lisa quickly said,acting like a hero,"This is against the rules here.
You can't bring in any outfit outside the organization.
But it's possible that they tore the outfits into pieces, so that they could come out and show off their...friend's latest design.".
"Mind the way you speak Lisa", Treasure sparked.
Christiana looks at him.
" I know the both of them very well.Not because they attend the same school with me,..but because they are not Showoff's like some people".
Lisa frowns and tries to defend herself, when Christiana added,"And yes...
I believe the organization has a CCTV camera to show the real culprit. I have a feeling that the culprit must be scared that he or she would be caught ".
Frightened, on hearing CCTV,Lisa tries to hold her fear back.
" Goodness!
I've forgotten about the cameras ",she thought in her mind.
Just then,Miss Angela said.Interrupting them." Whoever the culprit may be,we'll find out later.But now,we have to Start the game.
And Miss champion,..it isn't against the rule,for someone to bring in another outfit into the organization.
Outside outfits are considered back up outfits.
So you don't have to act like you know everything ".
Lisa faces the floor.She was feeling a bit humiliated by Miss Angela.
Blessing,Christiana and Treasure smirked.
John then said,looking at his watch," There's no time for all this.
Let's go!
It's almost show time.
Get the cameras rolling now".
He rushes.
All the crews began to rush.The game was about to begin.
"Come on pirates,let's go!!", a man said.putting on a headset.
Christiana was pleased with the way Miss Angela shushed Lisa.
But she was surprised at Treasure's behaviour.
She took a look at him,and met him smiling at her.
It was a bit weird to her at first.
But she soon smiled,when he saluted her and said,complimenting her outfit," Nice outfit.
Miss naughty".
She smiled.
She realized it and quickly wiped the smile off her face.
"What was that?", she thought to herself.
Blessing touches Christiana. And she faces her.
Christiana and Blessing smiled at each other.
They began to walk.Following the other students.
Lisa sighed in relief.
" Thank God.
At least I'm safe for now.
Maybe I'll temper with the cameras,after I win the challenge ".
She thought to herself proudly,and followed the students.
Back at the castle, the whole students were ready to watch the game.
So much excitement everywhere.
Ganiyat and the rest, got ready to watch the game online.
They couldn't wait to see their friends.
Just then,they heard Madam Elizabeth's voice,coming from the speaker outside.
She was making an announcement.
The girls stepped out of the room to listen.
"Attention students.
I am happy to announce that the pirate quest is about to begin this morning. And I am confident in our students representing us,that we'll succeed.
So,the president of Golden city education office,has decided that Golden castle, ....which is our castle..,will watch it together inside the hall.
She has made provisions for us to witness the game".
Students rejoiced.
The girls are happy.
" So those of you that are planning on wasting your data,can keep your data for future use.
Your presence is needed at the hall in the next 10mins",she announced.
All the students began to rush.
"Ope o!!
At least,I'll save my data for next time", Ife said.Pocketing her phone.
Adeola also did the same.
" I must say..,Miss Angela is a nice lady.
She cares a lot for the castle.
She's better than some people",Abigail praised her.
"I agree with you too.
She really is nice.
Didn't you see the way she defended Christiana and Blessing the other time?
When Ella and Hannah tried to remove them.
She's great",Treasure added.
The girls locked the room,and headed for the hall.
Gracious, who was thinking about everything the girls said, smacked.
She found Miss Angela's kind gesture towards the castle,very strange.
She then asked the others.Looking a bit confused," Don't get me wrong guys,but...isn't Miss Angela's kind gesture towards the castle a bit strange to you girls?".
"Meaning?", Ganiyat asked.Skipping a stone.
" I mean...,she's showing so much affection towards the castle. It's... It's kind of strange to me.
Why didn't she show it,when everyone stood against the castle?
Why is she showing it now,when the Incredibles dealt with Almoron and her demons?
I mean....there are other schools out there like us.She didn't go there".
"Oh Gracious,Gracious!
You little Queen of intelligence.
You think too much my dear", Treasure said.Placing her hand on her shoulder.
" Maybe she's doing all of these,..because she's regretting.
Yes,.. Regretting",Ife pointed out."It's possible that she's feeling sorry for not being there for the castle, when they needed her support.
So chill..!",Abigail said.Scrubbing Gracious hair.
Gracious chuckled and said,"Okay then.If you say so".
"Come on!
Come on!
Let's go and watch the pirate quest!!
I pray my girls win!
Wooo!", Adeola screamed and began to jump.
