Capítulo 10: Chapter 9

The next day, Livana ate breakfast with Rebecca, Tobias and Nathaniel. Nathaniel greeted her with a kind smile and a nod of his head. Since what had happened with Tobias in the library the previous day she hadn't felt this feeling of oppression again, thank God. She noticed Rebecca staring at the bruises on her arms and regretted not wearing a sleeved dress immediately but it was so hot outside and she wasn't planning on staying inside this cold mansion all day. Nathaniel on the other hand didn't look once at the marks he had left on her skin.

"Are you excited about your siblings visiting today?" Rebecca asked breaking the silence.
