Wide as dishes are their hazel eyes.
Under the rug of aquamarine-filled heaven with fleece-like clouds and sun printed upon it were buildings and…peoples; the mumble of humanoids with the howling of their children as they walked apace with the medieval structure buildings, along with the roar of vendors calling out to customers under their stalls.
As the jingle of metallic coin clatter from one palm upon another, reflected upon the nephew and uncle's eyes was a marketplace; rows of crates and trays of cucumbers, apples, corns, and other local seasonal produce with rough, wooden signs that have numbers upon them.
With peoples carrying products with bags, and baskets that were bought with their currency reflected upon their eyes - along with seasonal produce and smoky meats carried by the breeze to their Roman noses - the nephew and uncle turn right then left as they take in the sights of medieval-style structures and households with some reaching the heaven above.
"Wha-" they thought the same with sweats beginning to drip upon their forehead "What the hell??!!"
-They didn't register the fact that they have eyes upon them from multiple directions…and one of them has the courage.
"Hey-" Causing the duo to blink their chestnuts orbs and whip their head back to the source of the voice - standing upon the road with stalls neighboring, and muscular as a bodybuilder with both arms coil around one another, was a man stands before them; a scar slither upon his face from the right side of his forehead to the left side of his lips, the man has his leaf essence hair slick back - revealing the broadened forehead of his with knitted thick eyebrows "-would you two stop it?"
A charcoal waistcoat worn with golden lines painted on it, and same style pants with bracelets of stripes charcoals and grapes, the carriage-like heavy sound of Kadomon Risch was shot at the duo.
Reflected upon the downturn, leaf-color orbs of Risch were two individuals; an oval head was sported upon a half-plated body with a one-edge glaive on one end, with a pointed triangular-spear on the other, sported upon his rear whilst stand next to the skinny half-plate was a rounded head painted upon an overweight body - yet due to his height, he lost the view of obesity - within studded leather as two satchel on both side of his hips, with a singular drum on his rear and a book on his front; all strap with leather lines.
The eyes of nephew and uncle widen as who they saw was Kadomon Risch, the apple salesman in the manga series [Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World] - a series both uncle and nephew enjoy.
"Ah! Sorry for the inconvenience-" the nephew said, "but do you perhaps know where w-"
"Are we in the Kingdom of Lugunica?" the light voice spoke out of the nephew's uncle's throat as his eyes, under the crown of side-parted and charcoal hair of his, still widen as plates, but now had determination as its filling…along with fear.
"Huh?-" Kadomon said with an eyebrow raised "Yeah, we are. The two of you are supposed to know that by now"
"Yeah, sorry we just want to clarify-" the uncle said as he raised both hands, facing its palms towards the salesman, with lips showing teeth as he smile "-sorry to interrupt you Kadomon, let us go"
-As the uncle let silence cut his voice, he snatch his nephew's broad shoulder and begins to pull him away from the crowd.
"Wai-wha-what the-i can walk on my ow - uncle!" a heavy shriek came from the nephew's throat as he was dragged across the market. This has caused ripples of eyes of the market to have their lines of vision glued on the duo as the duo begins to walk away.
"Dragon sake, those two troublemakers-" Kadomon said as he turn around to face his stall to walk back to his seat before halting his obsidian boots as an arrow shot towards his square head "...wait…how do they know my name?"

The nephew scratches his side-parted crown "So, what you're saying is that we transported to [Re:Zero]...well-" with lips thin as a bar and widened eyes blank as a fresh canvas "-ain't that great" the nephew said with sarcasm hinted in his throat.
"Also, when did we have these stuffs?"
Arm twirl as the uncle laid his back upon the bumpy exterior of one building - a blanket of shadows glaze over the duo, produced by the star above the heaven as its javelin its rays over the roof - with eyes of his gaze at the nephew, the same age, of his who's sat upon the ground of the alley, with the nephew's lines of vision responded to the uncle's eyes.
"I have no idea…-" the uncle said before placing his thumb and index finger on his forehead, massaging the broad temple of his, as he close his eyes when he felt the breeze of air coming out of his mouth as he sigh "-but if we really are [transported]…then we're in a-"
"-serious trouble?" the nephew added.
"...Yep" and the uncle finishes.
Air brush through as the duo exhale, sighing as both legs of the uncle yank his back from the glue on the wall and begins to walk out of the alley. The ears on his oval head catch the sweeping of a broom and are followed with footsteps in rapid succession - louder and louder until it stops before the sound of heavy boots walking - that the uncle turned his head towards his side and found his nephew's almond eyes staring.
"What's wrong ?" his nephew ask
"Ah, nothing. Spooked by your footsteps that's all"
The duo begins to walk through the living market.

"What can I do for you two ?"
A gruff sound originated from the thickened throat of one guard - snowy skin cloak in iron armor and sat his rear upon a chair with his arms laid down upon the table before him with his palms hold a stack of papers upright as his orange hooded eyes gaze at the duo.
The uncle's feet, with the nephew stands on his right, falls upon the smooth stone floor as he stood within one of the many stations - with a flattened roof cover of reddened tiles dotted with random spots of white splashes, the rectangular station resemble of structures within the Medieval Era of Europe with its wooden frame drawn on the stations with windows reflecting the aquamarine essence of the heaven.
"Well, we wonder if you have any work that you could give us." the uncle finishes.
"Or in a better term, is there anything we could do to help you guys?" the nephew added.
The guard's hooded lids pulls back as his lapis-lazuli orbs widen before blinking and rest the stack of paper upon the desk as he slides his fingers of one palm upon the cracks - that are left by the formation of his fingers - of the other palm as he glue both palms to each other with two thumbs sticking out; letting his pointed chin rested on them.
"You guys…want works?" he said, with confusion riddled upon his face as an eyebrow raise upon his forehead.
"Yes, that's what we asking for" the uncle said, with both ends of his lip rises to form a smile.
"...Well…-" he paused, rubbing his chin "-we would love someone to help us but we couldn't bring ruin to the guard reputation of bringing outsiders to help, and we wouldn't one to bring harm to others."
"Well sadly we don't have that option here since…"the nephew pauses before continuing "we want to help as best as we can."
The guard hooded eyes widen at the nephew "well, even if that's the case, I still could not bring citizen to harm."
"Do we look like normal citizens???" thought of the uncle who wields a glaive, with his eyebrows flattened that causes it to knit together before closing the lids of his almond eyes for two seconds then open them to reveal the hazel orbs of his.
"Well…you know-" the uncle smile, before resting his elbows with his palms facing down to rest his chin as he bends his back to get close to the guard "-we could split the reward like…-" the uncle hum before resume "-we receive 40 and you receive 60 you know."
The guard's sapphire eyes begin to darken as his eyebrows shift into a diagonal position with eyelids closes before spoke in a heavy, darkened voice "if you insist on this mockery, I will have no choice but to-"
"If you want, we could do the job while disguising as a guard" the nephew interrupted - causing both the guard to gaze with his eyebrows stiffened and uncle to widen at the nephew.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, what I mean, you kept going on about how you don't want to bring ruin the guard reputation, so why not disguise ourselves as your guard" the nephew finishes
The guard sigh with his eye close before opening them "I do not kno-"
"And the fact that we don't look like normal civillians either" the uncle interrupted, now standing to his full height.
The guard begins to close his hooded eyes once more as he rests one arm while the other rest on its padded elbow with his fingers rubbing his forehead.
"Well…if you insisted on this…then maybe we could allow you to help us"
"Alright-" with a smirk on his rounded face, said by the nephew as his line of vision still glue on the guard "-now what-"
"May I interrupt-" the guard said, cutting the voice of the nephew with his own "but what about your…equipment?"
"Well… I may just got a trick for that".
Inside the station, eyes were widened.
