Capítulo 105: to protect one of them

BRADY'S EARS TWITCH at the horrid sound of a bird chirping repeatedly. The game console in his hands drops to the ground when he realizes the sound is coming from the apartment— to be precise, Aubrey's room. He snaps his head to the windows revealing the dark sky, wondering why there would be birds flying around Elm Street. Fear grips the 17-year-old as he gets up from the couch and begins making cautious steps towards her bedroom door. 

"What the hell?" He mutters under his breath when the chirping sounds slowly transform into Aubrey's gasps and whimpers. "What kind of nightmare is she having this time?" He slowly steps into the lighted hallway, getting scared to approach her room.
