"PERCY JACKSON?"

She blinks dumbfoundedly at him, not knowing who that is. "Uhh, no. Kai."

He frowns, the excitement immediately washing off. "The dog you came looking for the other day?"

She blinks again. She opens up her mouth but cannot seem to blurt out any words.

"What do you mean? He's not a dog. You've seen him before—"

His expressions cut her off and she decides it is best to avoid that conversation.

"I am talking about the god, Kai."

Brady sighs, leaning back to rest against the couch, finally letting go of all his Greek mythology books. "There is no god named Kai."

Her eyebrows furrow and she drops on the couch beside Brady, starting her own search. "There is. Well, he is a lost god so no one really hears about him. But you should have something on him, right? You know everything about gods."
