I stopped off to have a talk with my boys after leaving Lyon just to get a feel for where their heads were at. We were heading out in the morning as planned, but I wanted to be sure we were all on the same page, seeing as how Wolf’s woman was around here somewhere, not to mention we were all just pretty much given proof that those tunnels were in fact involved in some sketchy shit.

I was torn mentally at this point because I had to get her home and settled in, but now I had this shit on my mind. Life isn’t as cut and dry as the movies make it out to be. People can’t just cut shit off and move on to the next at will.

She needs me, I know, and this thing needs taking care of as well. How the hell do you focus on your girlfriend who has been traumatized her whole damn life while simultaneously dealing with the fact that the organization you’d given your life’s blood to was not what you always believed?
