While at the office, Matteo learns of a new available contract that could change his business forever, he calls his assistant and tells him to make sure they get," it has come to my knowledge that there is a contract available, we must take it by force,then we will change the future of this firm"
The man gives Matteo some disappointing news,"am afraid it won't be an easy one,we have a lot of competition, one of the competitors is your sister Agni and you know how smart and influential she is when it comes to business and things like these"
Matteo comes back to his senses after hearing this, " geez! I forgot, but that doesn't matter,my sister won't let me lose the contract because she cares you'll see,but we will keep fighting until we finally get"
At Agni's office, her assistant informs her of the open contract, " Agni madam? I just heard that there is an available contract, we should take it before anyone else does"
Agni tells his assistant not to worry as everything will work in their favour. Agni gets back home and starts picking on Matteo, " excuse me stranger! did you hear of the contract am most definitely going to win as it is,am more qualified than you, my company is also influential uhm, good luck"
When she goes to the room,Matteo is left feeling even more restless and desperate to win at any cost. He takes a gun out of his safe," its time I brought back my bad boy side back,I must say, I still have my skills intact"
Matteo goes to Mr Lincoln's house,the man in charge of awarding the contracts and threatens him with at gunpoint, " listen to me old man,am more than sure that you don't want to lose your life or leave your children to suffer in this world as orphans do you? "
Mr Lincoln pleads with Matteo not to kill him, " no! please sir! don't take my life or hurt my children I'll do whatever you ask me to do "
Matteo gives the man a task," I want you to award the contract to me and not anybody else,if you dare to outsmart me by awarding the contract to someone else, then kiss your life goodbye "
Mr Lincoln agrees to the condition despite knowing that it is wrong. On the day of contract awarding, the entire family with Jace go with Agni and Matteo to the ceremony. Agni is so confident that she keeps on convincing herself she will win, " today is the happiest day of my life,I can't wait to see the shock on Matteo's face when I get that award "
Matteo on the other hand, also is convincing himself that he has it all," I can't wait to see the shock on Agni's face when I get that award "
Mr Lincoln goes on stage to announce the winner," welcome ladies and gentlemen, it is about time I made the announcement to end the suspense, now the winner of the contract, who's company was found worthy and was also found to be the most competitive to help bring the development to this community is.......Agni!"
Everyone claps their hands and make noise to show excitement, " Agni! Agni"
Kel and the rest of the family except Nisha and Mitra, get up and cheer for Agni. Matteo is left shocked and wonders how Agni got the contract despite the warning he gave Mr Lincoln. Agni is asked to give a speech on stage in front of the crowd. Agni steps up. before she goes on with the speech,she looks at Matteo and gives him a big smile," oh my goodness! am so overwhelmed you all,its such a shame especially my one competitor who thought he had it all, sorry...but thank you so much Mr Lincoln "
The entire family make a big dinner to celebrate the victory. Matteo starts accusing Agni of cheating, "you cheated! I know it and you know it,how can you be so jealous"
Agni gets upset with the fact that Matteo is not ashamed of what he did and tells him off, " you have the guts to call me a cheater? am surprised that those words are coming from you"
Mitra supports Matteo in the argument, "my son is absolutely right! you cheated, you always want to win such that you forget we are family"
Tony however doesn't support Mitra's statement but sides with Agni, " what nonsense woman! you are siding with your useless son. Don't you know you are promoting hatred and disunity in the family by doing this? I promised to maintain peace and to make sure that Agni and Matteo always stand by each other but you want to be a distraction, watch your tongue,and stay within your limits"
Riswan also adds on to what Tony said, " you are my daughter in-law but am disappointed in you "
Agni gets really mad she exposes Matteo, " let me remind you of how you went to Mr Lincoln's house to threaten him... yes aunt,your precious son threatened to kill the poor man if he didn't award him the contract... you must be wondering how I knew everything, I saw you take your gun and I was at the house, you are so disgusting and I can't believe you are a part of this respectable family,shame... I assured to take of his family so he did the right thing and yes am ten times smarter than you so don't try me "
Matteo feels ashamed he goes out of the house. Agni looks at Nisha and she sees her smiling at someone. When Agni turns to look at who it is, she is confused to see Jace also smiling at Nisha and suspects there is something going on between them.
