Capítulo 20: 20: Fight for my right
The next morning, Kel and Ishan make the secret wedding arrangements. While Riswan and the entire family are worried sick about Mable. Ishan and Kel make arrangements for the wedding. Mable is also ready and fully dressed. He takes Mable to the altar where an hired pastor is standing. He blesses the couple and asks Kel to repeat the wedding vows which he does, the pastor asks Mable to say the wedding vows, but she keeps quiet when he asks her to repeat. Kel asks her why she isn't saying a thing and she tells him why," I am not a coward, I am a lioness, a fighter and I don't run away from my problems, we will get married but not this way,we will get married in the presence of our families and get their blessings and that is my decision "
Kel tries to convince Mable to change her mind," what don't you understand, your father won't let that happen so let's just go along with a plan,your father will have no other option than to accept the marriage if we do this"
Mable masters the courage to take Kel's hand," I have made up my mind Kel,we will go back to the village right now and get married in front of my father today"
She commands Ishan to give her Kel's car keys, and get into the car, she also asks Kel and the pastor to get in, she takes the drivers seat and rides back to the village. As they are on their way, Mable calls her father to inform him she is well and good and that she is in her way home. They reach the house and finds, Kel and Mable's family together with Aryan and his family. Salma is excited to see her daughter again so she hugs her. Aryan tries to scold Kel but Mable stops him,Riswan tries to do the same but Mable defends him, "he only did what he did to get the love of his life so you all don't have any right to scold him. And father, I made a declaration just the other day about a woman having rights to choose who to marry and am not an exception, why don't you let by gone's be by gone's, am tired of living like this I don't want to fight again because you are my father"
Riswan sees reason with Mable's words and he decides to let go of the past. He finally accepts Kel as his son in-law and forgives Mark. However all this does not sit well with Aryan, "you all might be okay with this decision not me"
Mable confronts Aryan about this, " if you and I end up getting married, we'll not be happy and when I go crazy and reveal my true self,you won't like me"
Aryan leaves in anger and his family follow him. Everyone changes into their wedding clothes and the wedding takes place, the couple exchange the wedding vows and rings as the pastor blesses them. Riswan and Mark finally make peace with each other.
