Chastine was nearly out of breath from running while still being pursued by the relentless monsters.

She decided she needed to find a hiding spot to gather her thoughts, but the monsters continued to chase her...

Eventually, she reached a dead end—a high cliff that loomed ominously before her. Without her abilities, jumping off the cliff would mean game over.

Desperation clawed at her as she frantically scanned her surroundings for a place to hide. There were no caves in sight, and her only option was to climb a tree.

Navigating the forest was second nature to her, so climbing a tree was an easy choice.

Fortunately, she managed to reach a sturdy branch just as the goblins and gnomes arrived at the base of the tree.

They snarled and hissed, their eyes searching for any sign of her.
