The Fairy-Tale Hero

Today I stand before you, not as a man, but as a figure to humanity. None of it started this way, nor was it suppose to end like this, but ‘they’ had other plans for me. I wanted to live a simple life, one that allowed me to be free and do the things I loved. Now i’m bound and restricted by ‘their’ rules of this dreadful game. To humanity, i’m their saviour, their hero, the one and only Fairy-tale Hero. To me, i’m nothing but a slave to ‘their’ game. Sometimes I wonder if what i’m doing is even right...
