Neya had analyzed every single word that Jordan had said to her. She always believed that he wasn't lying and would never ever lie to her and she also believed that what he had just said to her was the truth.
When Jordan told her that she had to be more patient. She was not willing to accept. But when Jordan began giving her the reasons as to why he said so. She started falling for his lies. At least she believed that she would be there for a shorter time. She just had to be patient. When she looked into Jordan's eyes as he spoke to her. She could not see any deceit in them.
But if she had taken one look closer in to his green eyes, she would have seen the truth that was being over shadowed by the lies.
Jordan knew that he had been lying to Neya and Nahor and he felt completely guilty about it. He knew that it was wrong and that's why he was planning on telling each of them the truth that he had been hiding as soon as some weeks after their wedding anniversary had passed.
Everything would be easier for him if Neya had developed feelings for Nahor. But Jordan clearly knew that wouldn't happen for then. He knew everyone would be angry at him once they found out the truth but he was ready to face their wrath.
Because he believed that their anger would subside not long from the time he told them. And he also knew that they wouldn't be so heartless not to forgive him so he would soon gain their forgiveness.
He was willing to endure all the taunts and insults from Nahor and Neya in order for their own happiness to prevail.
Jordan clearly knew that Nahor had a deep affection for Neya and that if he ever allowed Neya to leave. It would be like taking one piece from his heart. Nahor was so protective over Neya.He never wished any harm to come to her. Even though he didn't completely show it, his feelings for her were as clear as a crystal.
Jordan knew that Nahor was completely in love with Neya. And he also knew that Neya's feelings towards Nahor weren't the same. He wondered whether Nahor knew this or not but from his point of view it was clear that Nahor wasn't really sure whether she had feelings for him or not.
All Jordan wanted was to unite the two different people. He didn't want Neya to go because he wanted an intimate relationship to develop between them. He wanted them to get to know each other better. He wanted Neya to completely conquer his heart. He wanted all of them to fall in love with each other.
If this happened Jordan would be free from the pledge he made to Nahor's father before the tragedy that happened a long time back on their home.
He knew that if he had accomplished this task. Everything would be left in the hands of Neya.
He only hoped that everything would go as he wished.
Neya had easily believed everything that Jordan had said. She did so because she trusted him.
Neya was still thinking about what Jordan had said as she walked back to her room.
She stopped in her foot steps and wondered whether she would have time to confront Jordan before the celebrations started. She then said to herself,"Jordan, If I don't confront and get to find out the truth from you tomorrow. I will never have an opportunity such as this once again. Jordan be ready because before sunrise I will have been in your room and you will be telling me the truth. Nothing will stop me from doing what I am going to do. Not even you. You will tell me everything. I will make sure you do!" She then continued and said"I have to get dressed before I pay Jordan a visit. And before Nahor wakes up and gets to know about it. And I will make sure I am back before he wakes up. She then remembered" Wait!I don't have anything to wear. "I have to choose the perfect gown. Oh!I don't know if time is in my favor but I have to hurry".
"Jordan. Just wait. By sunrise I will have known everything. You can't hide the truth from me forever!"
Despite all Jordan's excuses, Neya was still eager to get a clear explanation from Jordan. Even though the next day was her wedding anniversary, she was willing to spare some time just before the whole ceremony started to confront Jordan and find out the truth. The whole truth.
Neya quickly ran towards her room like she didn't have the whole time in the world. Her long brown silky hair continuously bounced up in the air and landed down on her shoulders. The long green gown she was wearing looked stunning because of the green environment that made all of them a perfect match. The green carpet. The green decorations that were leaf-like structures that were placed on the staircase every corner of the palace.
Everyone's attention was on the princess as her running foot steps were clearly heard by the busy servants who were putting their final touches on the palace decorations. Everyone wondered why she was running so fast.
Everyone's eyes were on the young princess who looked like she was almost falling as she ran. She was shouting Abyne's name and Abyne quickly reported to her.
Neya was nearly nearing her room but
When she saw Abyne. She stopped running and told her to come to her.
"My lady, may I please know the reason for your haste?"
"Oh Abyne. I am in great need of your help. For I am not yet prepared for tomorrow. Come. Follow me. I need to help me choose the right gown,"Neya said as she opened the door to her room.
Nahor was sitting on the bed reading a book. It seemed like he had been waiting for Neya for a long time. But she did not seem to arrive at the expected time.
When Neya opened the door, Nahor's attention was on Neya. He put the book on the desk besides the bed and stood up. He looked like he was angry.
"Neya!"he said.
Neya knew that she had done something wrong. Why else would he be angry. Why did she get herself in to this mess. She only wished that he did not punish her that much.
