Capítulo 52: Corvis.

I looked at the boring walls of the dark room I had been in for the last 70 years.

My rage had settled long ago and now I was just waiting for someone to free me from this insanity.

'Where did it all go wrong...', I sighed.

I was originally a spirit, born from mana. I lived quite happily with my brethren as I spent countless years in the spirit realm.

But spirits have a very crucial task they need to do to keep on existing. Since Spirits are creatures born from mana, they will eventually dissolve back into mana if not interfered with.

Spirits can't interfere with mana themselves and that's why they need the help of other races that can interfere with mana to save them. So, the system of Contracts came into existence.

This system was implemented by the Spirit Queen.
